Recognizing that stress is common can help normalize your feelings. The good news is that there are many effective strategies you can implement to help navigate these challenges.

 1. Create a Study Schedule

One of the best ways to reduce anxiety is to prepare well in advance. Create a realistic study timetable that allocates time for each subject. Setting aside 4 to 6 hours average for self study (not necessarily at a strech )will help tremendously.

Break your study sessions into small, manageable chunks of time with a wonderful technique known as the Pomodoro Technique. Study for 25 minutes, then take a 5/10 minute break. This method helps maintain your focus and prevents burnout. You can also use apps like Focus To-do or any other fo the same purpose.

 2. Practice Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques

Incorporating mindfulness and relaxation exercises can significantly reduce stress levels. Consider trying belly breathing exercises, meditation, box breathing or yoga. Even a 10-minute session can clear your mind and enhance your focus. Apps like Insight Timer  or Calm can guide you if you're unsure where to start.

 3. Stay Organized

Keep your study area organized and free from distractions. A tidy workspace can help you think more clearly and stay focused on your tasks. Use folders to classify study materials and create checklists to ensure you cover all the topics needed for revision.

4. Set Achievable Goals

Set specific, achievable goals for each study session. Instead of saying, “I will study math today,” try saying, “I will complete Chapter 2 and practice 10 problems.” Setting clear goals can provide motivation and help track your progress.

5. Use Active Learning Strategies

Engage with the material actively. This could include summarizing what you've learned in your own words, teaching concepts to a friend, or using flashcards. Active learning keeps your mind engaged and improves retention
